It's Alive

allow myself to introduce myself... I have been away for some time due to pregnancy, dead laptop ,labor and then having a newborn. Well lets start with the bundle of joy. Conan Daigoro Levon Sarver was born April 16,2011 at 1:50 am. Three days of induction, two hours of pushing and an emergency c-section later and out he came! Four drugged up days in hospital and then we got to go home. Let me tell you breastfeeding started out a struggle but we got it down now (only took 11 weeks!) He is happy, healthy, handsome and growing. I am a stay at home mommy and I never thought i would love it but damn if i don't! My Wonderful fiance has been off work this whole time and it has been a wonderful bonding expierence for all of us. Neil goes back to work tommorow and we will miss him. I will be blogging more as I am still staying home with the kiddo. I have seen alot of movies so you can look foreward to my opions. The Bitch is back...

I have not said or felt this way about a movie in a long time but this movie makes me orgasm
just watching the trailer . I am very excited about this movie and side bar..i lived close to the set and passed it several times. Alas never catching a glimpse of anyone but what can ya do. This movie looks amazing. Danny Trejo is remarkable and Robert Rodriguez is a genius. Sorry Quentin i said it . I always assumed you were either team Tarantino of Rodriguez and i guess temporary i switched teams. Wouldn't be the first time i switched teams ! Any who ...watch this and prepare to change your panties girls..or guys?

The Crazies

This movie directed by George Romero in the 70's has been redone. Collective sigh of either relief or disapproval here. I felt a sigh of Relief when i heard the news but upon watching the movie that sigh sifted emotion fairly quickly. Now i must admit that i am partial to orginals but in an attempt not to be a douche bag that whines.."the original was so much better" at ever movie remake I put that aside and watched "The Crazies". It starts off kind of hectic but most movies of this genre tend to do, However if you sneeze or look away for just a second it is way too easy to feel as if an important part of the movie is rushed. When they figure out what is making the people"Crazy". Most of the movie seems way to fast paced and more of a blood and gore film then anything else. I can't say that i do not like those types of movies but i was not fully prepared to just watch gross death scences. All in all i have to give it a B-. Maybe i will try and rewatch it with less expectations the second time around and see how i feel.
A+ for the original !

Here is the remake...
